Illuminate Travel was founded by Grace Wahhab and Harry Garcia, a husband and wife team united by a shared passion for Peru and transformative travel experiences.
Grace brings over twenty years of experience in global tourism, with expertise in designing immersive journeys and creating meaningful connections between travelers and the destinations they visit.
Harry, born and raised in Peru, offers deep local knowledge and a lifelong connection to the country’s landscapes, culture, and traditions. His insights and creative vision ensure every journey is authentic, respectful, and deeply rooted in the spirit of Peru.
Their journey together began in 2016 on a trip to the Sacred Valley. For Harry, it was a familiar and beloved place; for Grace, it was a first encounter that opened her to the profound beauty and transformative energy of the region. This experience inspired them to share Peru with the world in a way that goes beyond sightseeing, offering experiences that are immersive, meaningful, and life-enhancing.
In 2017, they moved to Peru to bring this vision to life. By combining Grace’s international tourism expertise with Harry’s local knowledge and cultural insight, Illuminate Travel creates journeys that connect travelers deeply with Peru’s people, landscapes, and traditions.
